We gave away over 120 whopper mugs in May. We have given away 35 so far in June. To get a mug you can show us a picture of your fish as we appreciate the catch and release practices of many anglers.

These will be our hours through August. Our water level is currently at 50 %. The reservoir has been drawn down to 50% for the Dam expansion work. East River “Sea Monster” Washes Up Under Brooklyn Bridge

A seven foot long, two foot wide “sea monster” washed up beneath the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend. Some have described it as having the scales of a fish, body of a serpent, head of a pit bull and size of a large alligator.

Fishing in the Bay Area all my life it’s obvious to me what it is. Do you know what this “sea monster” is?

UPDATE:

This sea monster was confirmed to be an Atlantic Sturgeon by the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation.
